Founder & CEO Caitlyn McTaggart

Since 2003, It's A Breeze Fundraising Founder and CEO, Caitlyn McTaggart, has been committed to strengthening San Diego's nonprofit sector. After earning her Masters degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership in 2007 from the University of San Diego, Caitlyn hit the ground running in assisting organizations of all sizes with their fundraising needs. Since then, she has successfully secured over $5 million for organizations in San Diego and beyond, helping them to advance their missions and make a greater impact on the people they serve.

Caitlyn's dream for starting her own business began early on in her career after she founded Girls on the Run Hawaii, which is now thriving on the islands of Oahu and Maui. While working for this important cause, Caitlyn realized that she wanted to help other growing non-profit organizations reach their full potential. She understands from first-hand experience the hard work and specific skillsets that are required to be successful in the non-profit sector. Given her extensive background, Caitlyn decided that it was time to launch "It's A Breeze Fundraising" with the goal of leveraging her experience to support as many worthy causes as possible.

Caitlyn resides in sunny San Diego with her husband and five children, where she enjoys an active lifestyle, with activities ranging from running to cheering on the San Diego Padres to enjoying breezy beach mornings with her family.
